Saturday 1 September to Sunday 2 September, 5,000 fans each day will EAT. PARTY. REPEAT from 12 noon to late.
The best shisanyama venues from Durban will cook alongside an unparalelled music line-up. A venue cook off will take place on Saturday with the best dish awarded on stage that night. Winners from the Shisanyama Awards will be announced on stage on Sunday evening.

Dubbed Afrika’s Oktober Fest, the Shisanyama Festival is a celebration of the best of South African culture – good food, music, and fashion. Visitors can expect the ultimate in township red carpet experience; the best in local cuisine from spiced brisket, to t-bone and chicken wings, along with chakalaka, pap and ujeqe; and to wash it down – premium whiskey, brandy, champagne and ciders.

This year’s line up includes Babes Wodumo, DJ Tira, Mampintsha, Dladla Mshunqisi, DJ Feel, Benni Mavrick, and many more to be announced.
